The Opium software runs on Windows
NT 3.51, 4.0, 2000, XP and 2003 (Workstation/Professional
and Server version).
Please ensure that you do not
unzip the setup file into a path with long file
names or spaces and do not unzip it on a Macintosh,
otherwise the setup.exe will fail.
Do not uninstall the old version
of Opium. Simply run the installer of the newer version.
For downgrading to an older version of Opium,
do not uninstall the new version. Simply run the installer of the older version.
The configuration information of Opium 4.0 and 4.1 is mutually compatible. The
Opium 4.0 license code is also valid for Opium 4.1.
You can try a fully functional version of Opium 4.1 on both, a PC with an existing
Opium installation and on a PC without an existing Opium
4.0 installation for 30 days without a license code.
